ASCAの新曲「Cusp（カスプ）」は、2026年4月より放送開始されたTVアニメ『黒猫と魔女の教室』のオープニング主題歌として誕生した楽曲です。作詞を辻井りと、作曲・編曲を小椋健司が手掛け、ASCAの力強くも繊細なボーカルが作品の世界観を見事に表現しています。
本作の主人公・スピカの成長を描いた歌詞は、曖昧さや迷いを抱えながらも前へ進む姿勢を応援するメッセージが込められており、ASCAは「追い風のような存在になれたら嬉しい」と語っています。疾走感溢れるサウンドに乗せた、前向きなエネルギーが詰まった一曲となっています。
楽曲は4月13日にデジタル配信がスタートし、5月27日にはCDシングルとしてリリースされます。
